The Orlando Independent Film Festival is an online celebration dedicated to showcasing the finest works of independent cinema. Our primary objective is to present a diverse array of independent films to the general public.
Every season, we accept submissions from talented filmmakers. Exceptional films have the opportunity to be featured in our annual online event, bringing emerging voices and experienced professionals together.

Please review the eligibility, submission, judging and entry fee requirements before sending your film.
A / ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Films completed on or after Jan 1, 2024, are eligible for consideration.
Films previously submitted to the Festival are NOT eligible for consideration.
Feature-length films available for public online viewing are not eligible.
Films shown at private screenings not open to the public are eligible.
All entries must be in English or subtitled in English. Dialogue lists are not accepted.
B / SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Feature-length films must be submitted via an online screener hosted by Vimeo, DVD or Blu-ray disc.
Only complete entries, including fee payment and screener, will be considered.
Works-in-progress may be submitted. The programming committee will consider the version submitted.
Student entry fee rates require proof of student status at the time of production.
Selected films will screen on Blu-ray/DCP unless otherwise arranged.
C / SHIPPING
The entrant must pay the cost of shipping an entry to the Festival.
Collect or COD shipments will not be accepted.
International entries must be sent free domicile with transportation charges, duties and taxes prepaid by the shipper.
D / JUDGING & SELECTION
Films are selected for Festival presentation by the Festival programming committee.
If selected, the Festival office will contact the entrant by phone or email.
The Festival does not provide feedback or screening notes to entries that are not selected.
E / ENTRY FEES
Entry fees must accompany each entry and are not refundable.
Fees cover registration, notification, programming consideration and results.
Fees may be paid by VISA, MasterCard or American Express.
